Discover this Real-Life Royal Fairytale
hidden in the heart of America through Jordan Patterson’s
Captivating new book.

Long ago, princes and princesses lived in grand castles across Europe.

Some arrived only with a few special treasures, while others learned new jobs and ways of life. They became writers, farmers, shopkeepers, and teachers. Yet deep down, they still carried the grace, history, and secrets of their royal past.

This beautifully illustrated book reveals the true story of a Czech princess and her family, who found hope and belonging in a brand-new world.

About the Author

Jordan Patterson is a writer, playwright, and creative visionary whose journey has taken her from luxury fashion houses in New York City to the cobblestone streets of Prague, and now to the heart of Texas.

Born in Japan to American parents and raised in Connecticut, Jordan studied business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, spending semesters abroad in Copenhagen and Madrid before interning at the UK Parliament in London.

In 2009, inspired by a children’s story she had written about a Czech orphan who becomes a Bohemian princess, Jordan moved to Prague to open an orphanage. Though that dream evolved, she uncovered extraordinary tales of exiled aristocrats who rebuilt their lives quietly in America.

Her work spans children’s literature, stage plays, and a forthcoming docu-drama about royal refugees in the U.S.
